Wednesday, May 20, 2015. So I've been asked by my day job to create something for our Branch Manager. She is moving to California and the wanted something that incorporates my art and photos of her time as Branch Manager. Nothing like a little pressure. This took a few days to complete and the paint didn't get as black in the dark areas as I had hoped. Now I can't bring myself to stick the numbers on top so I think I will stick them directly on the glass of the frame. It looks better in the frame.

Monday, April 27, 2015. Friday my nephew asked me if I knew what an art installation was. I said yes but I had a hard time explaining so I googled it. According to Wikipedia "Installation Art" is an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that are often site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space. Then he tells me he needs to create an art installation due Monday and did I have any ideas? I helped Tyson calculate the shape we wanted. A wave seemed the easiest.

Saturday, March 19, 2011. Roy O Disney Suite. Behind this locked gate is where the ridiculously rich people stay. You can rent a private cabana! Pelican Splash was fun but the water was a bit chilly! Our boat viewed from Disney's private island. The crew call the chandalier Precilla. This night club was cool. The scene constantly changed. I think this view is Tokyo. Another night club 'Pinks'. The Garden restaurant: It was designed to look like The gardens in Versailles. Checkin out the night clubs.

Monday, April 13, 2015. I've uploaded another painting to Saatchi Art. I still haven't sold anything so I decided this one would be a little wilder. Im calling it Waters Edge. This one was a study of a texture technique using plastic wrap. You crumple plastic wrap and set it on the wet painting and let it dry. Thursday, September 16, 2010. I caught my first glimpse of fall today. The trees on the mountain are changing color and while I love fall, I really don't like winter. So fall is bitter sweet. The beautiful autumn leaves, the cooler temperatures. I'd go for anything under 85 degrees. Summer here can get so unbearably hot. There's really only a few things I don't like about winter.
