From Sea To Safety. We need your help. Along the entire route on the island there are volunteer medical stations and mobile doctors waiting to help the most vulnerable. Hypothermia, dehydration, shock are most common. Pregnant women, patients on dialysis, broken bones, and far more severe cases happen almost daily. Movement On The Ground was able to fund an AED (defibrillator) and heart pads for the doctors on the coast. Presence on Lesvos since July. GENERAL MEDICAL NEEDS FOR ENTIRE ISLAND.

The camps are the first point of contact for most arriving and the point at which basic survival needs must be met. Water, shelter, food, medical care and rest. Dutch charity currently making registration camp Moria in the South winter ready. Movement On The Ground has partnered with Lesvos Winterproof to expand activities to all areas.
