The Only Constant Is Change: December 2006
http://constantchangeisthenorm.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
The Only Constant Is Change. Friday, December 22, 2006. For the Holiday season and for a great 2007, as well. I should be getting back to regular contributions here in the near future and am looking forward to catching up on all that been going on with all of you. Posted by Norm at 12/22/2006 11:27:00 AM. Links to this post. Monday, December 18, 2006. Yes, the weather. We've had a couple of pronounced cold snaps but they haven't lasted. This last week has been mild enough that the grass is greeni...Poste...

The Only Constant Is Change: March 2007
http://constantchangeisthenorm.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
The Only Constant Is Change. Sunday, March 25, 2007. What it boils down to is that I don't expect to be posting here for a bit unless I'm unable to sleep and need to find something quiet to occupy myself with. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Twelve minutes well spent. Update - I just tried the link and it didn't work - maybe it will for you. If it doesn't, I'd encourage you to track it down on YouTube. The Only Constant Is Change: February 2007
http://constantchangeisthenorm.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
The Only Constant Is Change. Monday, February 26, 2007. My mind has been all over the map through the course of the last few nights. I don't understand how my 'reality' and hers can have gotten so out of whack, so quickly. I think I'm sane and grounded in the real world. I know Lynda has had a couple of people sniping in ther ear lately and that they have their own agendas and points of view - ones that I don't share. I'm catching at straws here. The Only Constant Is Change: January 2007
http://constantchangeisthenorm.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
The Only Constant Is Change. Sunday, January 28, 2007. Another work week almost done. It's been a good week and in a few hours I'll be able to head home and catch some shut-eye. I've been operating most of the week sleep deprived; I guess those weeks covering the day shift have thrown me off. No big deal; I'll survive. Hmmmmjust got called on to do an intervention via phone. Buddy wasn't expecting a call from a counsellor while driving to his crack dealer's place - I think he just about wet his pants...

Cocktail putsch: lil' x
http://cocktailputsch.blogspot.com/2013/10/announcing-little-x-prize.html
Announcing the little x prize. Hard cash handed out when a goal is met. The initial award goes to the first to send a living ecosystem round Mars and back. The ecosystem will be fully monitored and recorded and consist of at least two species, one of which must be macroscopic. It must be alive on return to Earth's orbit. For this achievement I will pay the sum of ten U. S. dollars. This pledge is not exclusive. Anyone believing it worthy is welcome to add their pledge. Reference #littlexprize.

Cocktail putsch: August 2011
http://cocktailputsch.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Better living through explosives. My folks used dynamite to fix a flooded basement. The downstairs toilet would occasionally bubble sewage. We did a perk test out front where you pour some water in a hole and see how long it takes to drain. It didn't. A problem, because septic tanks are designed to spill into the drain field and seep into the earth. Otherwise, stuff backs up and heads to the basement toilet. Not the stuff you're looking for. And then Joe thought: dynamite. It would punch right through th...

Cocktail putsch: One Shot
http://cocktailputsch.blogspot.com/2013/10/one-shot.html
You have to toss nuclear bombs under the pusher plate and explode them right on schedule. Plans on how to do this has only been generally sketched out. A trap door, exposed to regular fission blasts and that will work without fail? Catapult(s) on the rim of the plate, tossing them to go off at just the right time and place? There are no detailed plans on the delivery method. Of all the plans that probably won't happen this is one of my favorites. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The World Wide Glen.

Cocktail putsch: View from the edge
http://cocktailputsch.blogspot.com/2013/01/view-from-edge.html
View from the edge. Progressives and Conservatives alike want the state to regulate human activity into certain, if differing, channels, lest evil arise. Libertarians prefer that the state intervene only when evil occurs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Golden Age Of Comic Book Stories. The World Wide Glen. View from the edge. The Only Constant Is Change: October 2006
http://constantchangeisthenorm.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
The Only Constant Is Change. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. I've had a couple of significant talks with other AA's in the last few days; one about the various aspects of sobriety - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The other about perception of ourselves and our little worlds; and also how we project and perceive our projection to those about us. I believe there was a spiritual intervention on the day Bill W met Dr Bob. Thank God. Posted by Norm at 10/31/2006 02:35:00 AM. Links to this post. The onl...
