Encouragement & Motivation: Persistent or Stubborn?
http://jarrodspencer.blogspot.com/2011/07/persistent-or-stubborn.html
Putting a spring in your step through words of encouragement, motivation, and God's Word. Posted by Jarrod Spencer. Ailure. Such a non-desired word to be labeled. It is what the "F" on a school assignment represents. I hardly ever received them in school, and because of that, they were so gut-wrenching to see. Who wants to be a failure, in school or in life? Some are not failures but a few mistakes and they are now stricken with that label. That brings us to this week's quote. There is a guy in my family...

Encouragement & Motivation: What If Our Friends Asked Us to Come to Their Community?
http://jarrodspencer.blogspot.com/2013/06/what-if-our-friends-asked-us-to-come-to.html
Putting a spring in your step through words of encouragement, motivation, and God's Word. What If Our Friends Asked Us to Come to Their Community? Posted by Jarrod Spencer in Church. Hat if your non-churchgoing friends asked you to join them for a few weekends in a given two-week period, doing what they do and going where they go. Transformed: I'm Hip! Are you?
http://ministrymama.blogspot.com/2009/07/im-so-hip-are-you.html
Thursday, July 9, 2009. I'm feeling exceptionally "hip" these days. I'm using words like "twitter", "facebook", and "smart phone". And, I'm not just using them, I actually know what they mean! I can usually hold my own when the teens are talking technology in our Wednesday night bible class at church. Overall, I am quite impressed with myself! And my smart phone makes me feel anything but smart! Why do we shy away from change? From the things that modernize us? I want to be the church that can keep up wi...

Transformed: May 2008

Friday, May 30, 2008. On the Hunt . . . I've become a regular at Sears. I know every appliance in the store. In fact, we are on a first name basis. I've met the lovely, shiny, way out of my price range, GE Profile. The fancy, bells-and-whistles, only-in-my-dreams Bosch. The Kenmores. The whole experience got me thinking. . . am I putting as much effort into my prayer-life? Do I give up quickly when I don't see the results I'm looking for? Do I let the devil convince me that I don't have enough time?
