Eating well, sometimes – molleats
https://molleats.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/eating-well-sometimes
Eating well, sometimes. November 29, 2015. October 10, 2016. I love Rio de Janeiro. I love wandering down Vidigal and stopping at the Tortas. Shop and picking up a brigadeiro. Or a slice of pudim. I’m in a terrible routine of eating well for a couple of weeks, feeling great, and then having a square of chocolate or some paes de queijo. Here is what I’m eating when things are going well…. Coconut and chia with chopped nuts and peanut butter. Queijo coalho, couve refogada com alho, and salad. One of my fav...

Tapioca loving – molleats
https://molleats.wordpress.com/2015/09/28/tapioca-loving
September 28, 2015. October 10, 2016. Tapioca is my new favourite thing. Breakfast at my hostel in Jericoacoara is good fruit, juice, tea and coffee, pastries and cakes, cheese, ham, bread and a toastie machine. It’s not so great when you can’t eat half of that, but the staff are lovely and make me tapioca instead. Fresh guava juice, black coffee, watermelon, papaya, cheese and cheese-filled tapioca. Açaí na tigela with chia seeds. At midday I got some açaí na tigela. For lunch I went back to ‘Casa...

Home again – molleats
https://molleats.wordpress.com/2015/08/29/home-again
August 29, 2015. October 10, 2016. I’m back home back from London, back from Rototom. After some amazing gluten-filled treats and many pizzas, it’s definitely time to stop (my body couldn’t take it anymore). Make me feel good, especially the having fruit salads for breakfast and I basically felt super hungry and grouchy not long after eating. Here are some of the things I have been eating. Smoked salmon and avocado omelette. As you can see, they have been pretty egg and smoked salmon heavy breakfasts....

molleats – Page 2

August 10, 2015. October 10, 2016. I feel like mushroom risotto is quite a posh dish but it’s one of my favourite things to make as a student because it’s so cheap. Having said that, I did shop in Whole Foods for my ingredients this time. But normally it’s Sainsbury’s basics mushrooms and the cheapest arborio rice I can find…. 2 large garlic cloves. Finely chop the onion. Add to a saucepan with a good few lugs of olive oil, on a low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Add 250ml of boiling water and stir t...

BodhiGreen Restaurant – molleats
https://molleats.wordpress.com/2015/09/01/bodhigreen-restaurant
September 1, 2015. October 10, 2016. So on Saturday it was my sister’s 21st birthday and she chose to go to dinner at BodhiGreen, a fairly new restaurant in Alicante. It’s a vegetarian restaurant so it’s the best and easiest place for my vegan family members to eat (and it’s very good for gluten-free people too). I think it’s also. Fancier than BioMenu and it feels like a treat to go. Involtini aubergine rolls with tomato and basil sauce and manchego cheese. Vegetable pakora with plum sauce. The only thi...
