Friday, July 31, 2015. Portland Day 5 -7. Every time we go to Portland the Kiddos ask to see 2 special people. And we got to spend time with both of them on the same day! We headed further into Portland to meet up with Rian and Rachel for Lunch. We arrived early so I took the kiddos to some fountains to run around in. But it was a bit cold. Friday, July 31, 2015. While Phillip was at work the kiddos and I went on a walk. It was hot. We went swimming before our walk and then again after our walk. Being a weekend Phillip only had to work half a day. When He got off work we headed to a little beach the kiddos love. They are able to swim to the houses out there. This day there was a group of partiers that were drinking and had foul mouths. Also the sand was super hot! After about 15 minutes we decided to go explore more unknown areas.

Friday, July 31, 2015. Once again Phillip had to go to Portland. This time he would be gone for 8 days. We all decided that was a fair amount of time to be gone and that we should all go. I love that the kids want to pack for themselves nowadays. When we got all checked in we thought we should go kill some time. We took our bikes with us this time. We rode for 4 miles along a greenbelt type path. If you look super close you can see Mt Hood in the background of the kiddos. Then we had to cool off!

Friday, July 31, 2015. Portland Day 4 ad 5. We were not prepared. We had a tiny flashlight and no warm clothes. It is about 40 degrees in there. We walked quite a bit before the uneven ground and many rock climbing adventures took a toll on my knees and I needed to get out. We decided to hike the above ground area. In the picture you can see Mt. St. Helen's. The kiddos loved going in to the holes. Lots of rocks to climb on! Day 5 Phillip worked all day. We swam and hung out at the hotel!

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Rett last year as a pumpkin. Halloween was wonderful. Rett was all dressed up in his cow costume and ready to go. Although he was a little older, he really didn't understand the purpose of the evening. Even as Rusty and I were so excited to have our Trick or Treat tax, we didn't reap much benefit. I guess when you go with little ones they can only go for so long! But we had a great time with friends and a fun second Halloween. He was a cow this year just like his cousin Reed.
