Family History
To my web site about the lives of our ancestors during the 19th and early 20th century. They include artists, sculptors, brewers, jockeys, tollgate keepers, a zoo keeper and several illegitimate babies born in workhouses. Many of them lived in Gorton, south east Manchester, and were very near each other for several generations. The others lived in the London area but had connections to Gorton. I've arranged them here alphabetically, not in order of importance. Lived all over London in the Victorian period.
