God's Story…Our Family. Learning everyday how our story intersects with God's story. November 26, 2012. From Steven Curtis Chapman’s “What Now”. I saw the face of Jesus in a little orphan girl. She was standing in the corner on the other side of the world. And I heard the voice of Jesus gently whisper to my heart. Didn’t you say you wanted to find me? Well here I am, here you are. So, What now? What will you do now that you found Me? What will you do with this treasure you’ve found? You’ve found me.

http://mindyourmanorsplease.blogspot.com/2012/01/he-has-to-use-two-hands.html
Monday, October 10, 2011. He has to use two hands. Well, it is official.I have a 6 year old. He has to hold up two hands to tell me how old he is. I feel like this year the celebrating went on and on. Maybe I was in denial, maybe he wanted to have his birthday party at CHUCK E CHEESE for the THIRD year in a row, maybe he asked that I also bring cookies to school. okay, all of that is true. Ms Molly having the class sing Happy Birthday to him. Great picture, huh? They are such hams. Love Brings You Home.

Sunday, October 14, 2012. We are so excited to be at coming to the end of our adoption journey because that means that our sweet boy is almost home! We are incredibly thankful to be a part of a church who cares for the fatherless and has partnered with Lifesong for Orphans to help us with the last bit of our adoption expenses. The number of children worldwide without families to love and care for them is astounding…. There are over 43.4 million orphans in Africa alone! This means that LHBC and Lifesong w...

We passed court, passed the appeals period, filled out lots more paper work, moved houses and M actually moved to the capital of DRC too! With each step and each new photo, we fall more and more in love with our son. We are very hopeful that our boy will be home in time to celebrate our Savior's birth! Pray with us please!
