Sunday, November 18, 2012. Well it finally happened Preston has learned how to escape out of his crib. We were having our home date last night and all of a sudden we heard the door open and out walks Preston. So we went ahead and removed both babies crib fronts tonight. They were having so much fun switching each other's beds and jumping on them. This should be an interesting night! Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Our Trip To Utah! The boys did really well with the car ride! I was pleasantly surprised!

Friday, July 15, 2011. The family took a long vacation to Idaho and Utah this summer. We had lots of fun and did quite a few things. Last trip Ashley and Patti took to Utah, Lisa's neighbor Sierra and Ashley decided they wanted to go do something new and fun together. So, Sierra took Ashley to Lagoon. Her first experience! Tuesday, September 2, 2014. I try to sing to the boys and the girls every night. The boys get competitive, wanting me to sing their song of choice. So they alternate nights. Tonight it was Gregory's turn to pick the song. He always asks me to come up with something original on the spot, which is something special I love to share with him. Friday, February 10, 2012. So, we decided it was long past due since we updated our blog so we went on a spree updating lots! One thing we failed to post almost a whole year ago was Ashley. She recieved her Young Women's Medallion. She worked very hard to get that and is happy to say she has finally finished! Before we can grow old, we must first grow up. We are doing both - Together. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Last month when it was cooler outside, we got together with Erik, Melinda and Camden at Jonathan's new house. Jonathan was so patient with our kiddos and made us some delicious chicken, potatoes and veggies all on the grill. (Of course in true bachelor style.). Here's Melinda and Camden playing in the grass. Good and Getting Better. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Baby is due in six weeks, on June 2. I am praying that he comes two weeks early. I know he won't but a girl can wish, you know? Saturday, February 1, 2014. Needful Things" List for Craft Swap. I'm participating in my first Swap! I needed to list 20 things I can't live without. Nothing starts out a day better than the steady thrum and pitter-patter of rain. Best way to go to sleep, too. Throw in some rolling thunder and I am in my happy place. Since I live in scorched Tucson, Arizona we have a thundering rain storm CD. That gets LOTS of use. Speaking of wet things, I can't live without my clothes dryer. And speaking of Germany.

Wednesday, January 15, 2014. I can hardly believe it's been over a year since I last posted. sounds like a typical journal entry. I shouldn't be so surprised. If only my blogging skills were as strong as my Facebook skills. The whole crew Veteran's Day 2013. It's been a big year in the Olsen household. So let me recount everything that's happened. In the words of Inigo Montoya,. No, there is too much. Let me sum up". Fred stayed in Texas until he finished up training in July. Most uneventful birthday ever.
