Saturday, August 6, 2011. We had a wonderfully busy and social March. The Theaart family crossed the Australia divide and blessed us with a visit from Perth. Much time was spent enjoying modern technology :-). But we did get to enjoy the natural beauty as well. We had fun feeding these cheeky birds. The white cockatoo stole the bag of seeds out of my hand and merrily flew up into the tree and enjoyed the spoils of his sneakiness. We enjoyed some family time at a local park. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Just a little bit of fun. Emily and I went to watch an amateur production of HSM. Of course, Emily loved every minute of it! We have quite a bit of rain lately and everything is so green at the moment - so beautiful! This is the field opposite Em's school. The entrance to Berwick. A colourful rainbow after some rain. Another field near Em's school. Every so often the green is broken by a blanket of yellow. Guess which group played in this room. Emily at another birthday party.

The mercury peaked at 46.4 degrees at 15h30, before dropping to less than 30 degrees by 18h00. That's Melbourne. The picture alongside shows Marysville after the fire,. A fire believed to have been started by an arsonist. Marysville was a favourite day out for me and Nadine and this picture below shows why.
