What if we were Honey Bee and Queen Bee each one in our own time. Servant and Master in a new collective paradigm. Within our geometric pattern lies a fundamental truth. Of integrated unity a potent blueprint for our youth. Our inherent hexagon nature based on six appeal. A powerful cocktail when mixed with zeal. A beacon of innovation, a multi-faceted find.

A great WordPress.com site. Bring on the Brass Band. This entry was posted on March 21, 2013 by Katherine MW. And tagged Bath Literature Festival. Continuing on from a conversation I had with one of our fellow workshoppers at the Bath Literature Festival, I am currently contemplating the need to learn to blow one’s own trumpet. It appears to me that one has to hone this skill in order to attract the attention of an agent or publisher. Yesterday I went to a meeting of the Bath Writers group, where another...

A great WordPress.com site. This entry was posted on March 8, 2013 by hivemindbath. I think I just made up a word. Is that allowed in blogging? Probably. I bet you know what I mean though. I’m having a workshopping month as it happens; paper-cutting last week, writing in the social media age this week, and fused-glass jewellery-making next week. This is not by design, it just worked out that way. Three things I like about workshops:. Paper-cutting workshops are run by Jessica Palmer. Talking of making up...

Once upon a time… well actually on the 5th March 2013, an eclectic group of people got together at the Holburne Museum in Bath for a workshop on. Writing in the Social Media Age. Part of the Bath Literature Festival, facilitated by the lovely Sarah Salway, ideas flowed, information was exchanged, skills were shared, and the mood was generally sunny – just like the weather outside. A great WordPress.com site. This entry was posted on March 21, 2013 by berniehowley. I saw lush blooms,. Friendly shades of red and gold. Made hazy through angels’ breath. I arranged them, stem by stem,. In a tall glass vase. And placed it on the marble mantle. In front of the mirror. It didn’t take long for the petals. To drop and for bald stigma. To thrust themselves at me. Stems weakened, wilted,. Down the sides of the vase. Sad, I laboured. To save your gift,. Topped up the water. A last dark berry.

A great WordPress.com site. This entry was posted on April 17, 2013 by greatprocrastinator. I saw an acquaintance in a cafe last month. She was typing away on her laptop. We know each other from a community choir and so we only usually talk about singing. When I next met her, we got onto the subject of what exactly she had been up to on that laptop. Much blathering and waffling ensued from me, when in reality, the correct answer to that question was “no”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are commenting us...

A great WordPress.com site. This entry was posted on March 12, 2013 by greatprocrastinator. This week I’ve been collecting memories for the eulogy of my grandmother, Caroline, who died three days short of her 100th birthday. Relatives have been emailing little stories and recollections of her. As a granddaughter it’s been emotional and as a writer it’s been inspiring. What will we achieve, create and mess up over the next century? Lots of stories there. One thought on “ Collecting Memories. Fill in your ...
