Sunday, August 23, 2009. Friends come to visit. Our friends the Garner's came to see us in July. They used to live here and we're always excited for the chance to renew our friendship. The girls had a marvelous time playing dress-up! Their daughter Shay was adorable in the ballet costume! Even though it was cloudy, we took a chance and went to the pool. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Every summer, since I was a child, my mom's family spends a week in northern Wisconsin on the lake. It's been fun to take the kids the past few summers and watch them enjoy the same things we used to do when we were young. Here are a few of our favorite past-times at the lake. Eating lunch outside, so we don't miss what happens while we're in the cabin eating. Riding on the boat while othe people waterski and tube. Getting brave enough to tube outselves. Playing with Auntie Di.

Sunday, August 23, 2009. Rhinelander, Wisconsin 2009. For more than 20 years, our family has been going to Rhinelander, Wisconsin for a week every summer. We were kids then, and now we take our kids there. The past few years, I have taken the kids by myself because Jared has had classes and work. But this summer he got to go with us! And although we didn't get to stay the whole week, we still had a great time! A rainy evening spent in the cabin playing games. Grandma, Aunt Di, and Christina.

My sister, sandra, asked me, why i rang the bell, why didn't i just walk in? It never even occured to me to just walk in, like i would at their old house. I guess it just didn't feel like home. Monday, October 29, 2012. I am now 29 weeks! At my last OB appointment, I have put on 25 lbs so far. Twin pregnancies are recommended to gain between 35-45 lbs, so I am getting closer. The babies are now about the size of acorn squashes. Had my MFM (specialist) appointment on friday,. Things are still looking good. Baby A (Weston) is 2 lbs 7 oz. Baby B (Arthor) is 2 lbs 4 oz. Monday, August 27, 2012. Once confirming the genders of both babies, I, of course, had to go shopping. My favorite children's clothing store is Carters. Their clothes are cute, durable and cheap! Tuesday, September 18, 2012. I am 23, almost 24 weeks! We met with a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist and he determined that we are having. While it didn't really matter whether they were identical or fraternal, it is nice to have that question answered. Though we did find out that the boys are sharing a placenta. Which causes a size discordance between the two boys. Baby A's umbilical cord is right in the center, so he is right on target with his size. Which is such a huge relief and blessing.
