The Carter Family: Summer Fun in December
http://carterfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010/02/summer-fun-in-december.html
Monday, February 8, 2010. Summer Fun in December. We decided to extend Christmas a little this year and visit family. After Christmas at our house, we visited my parents in Talladega. And had Christmas with them, my sister and her boyfriend, and my brother and his family. We all had a great time, Harper loves playing with Zane's girls! Opening presents at Nana's. South to Naples. It was so nice to have a break from the cold and enjoy a little Florida. Sun in the middle of winter. Harper absolutely.

The Carter Family: February 2010
http://carterfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. My parents still live in the house that I grew-up in, it is surrounded by a lot of land that is so fun to explore. Some of the my best memories are of the hours that Zane and I spent playing in the fields and creeks around the house. Now, Harper gets to enjoy all of this as well. She loves bundling up and exploring with Nana. She stomps. We all had fun "treasure hunting" with Harper, I'm so glad I can share this with my daughter! Monday, February 8, 2010. The Carter Family: Christmas Traditions
http://carterfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010/02/christmas-traditions.html
Sunday, February 7, 2010. We are beginning to establish. Our own Christmas traditions, which is really fun and special. Every year Santa rides through our neighborhood on a fire truck. This is really neat, all of the families in the neighborhood are out in their yards waving at Santa. Harper thought this was great but was worried how Santa was going to make it to all the houses on Christmas Eve.so cute! This is a great tradition, that's unique to our city, we're so glad they do this for the kids.

The Carter Family: October 2009
http://carterfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 19, 2009. Harper "reading" to Ensley. Don't you love how interested Ensley appears to be! Sometimes a hat is the only thing that can control Harper's "frizz". This summer, Harper's school had theme dress-up days every Friday. Harper loved to dress up, though she didn't usually come home in her costume! We spend most of our summer weekends at the lake. Harper LOVES the lake! Harper is becoming a little ham. She "cheeses" for the camera when ever it comes out. Between her silly face...

The Carter Family: Trick or Treat
http://carterfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010/02/trick-or-treat.html
Sunday, February 7, 2010. This year Halloween was so much fun! Harper was able to pick out what she wanted to be and really understood what was going on. She decided she wanted to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. We're not really sure where she got this idea because she had never seen the movie, but she was dead set on being Dorothy. She was so cute with her pigtails and "ruby slippers". Grammie. Dorothy and the mouse trick or treating. Checking out the loot. Randy, Stacie and Riley.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Harper feeding a goat. Harper petting a wolf. I was really surprised at how large it was! Harper and Peerli feeding a duck. Harper was afraid the duck was going to bite her. We didn't use zoom for this picture.we really were able to get this close to the birds. They weren't in cages! This was so much fun for all of us! I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do at the beach. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Michael, Hillary, and Harper.

My parent's, Caitlin, and her boyfriend Dylan joined us for the beginning of the week and our friends, Peerli. And Brent came at the end. We had so much fun! Harper LOVES the beach! It's especially fun when she's got people like my Mom, Dylan, and Dat. To keep her entertained! She saw a hole in the sand s he. While Brent and Peerli.
