Rather, it's related to the fact that t'other hayfe has now acquired the entire Game On collection on DVD, and it's giving us something else to watch now that the Mighty Boosh has disappeared off BBC America. Getting busy with the misery. Monday, August 28, 2006. Sorry for temporary absence and associated incommunicado. Over the weekend I reached the age of 30, and my present was a surprise weekend down in Miami. Whenever I say 'Miami', I have the rather muddled lyrics from the Will Smith song, and sung by a token latino lady in the appropriate accent, going around in my articulatory loop (ok, memory bods feel free to correct me if this has now been updated). Getting busy with the misery. Monday, September 25, 2006. I realise that i've not posted much of late, so here's a quick pic. Me on my 30th birthday in Jerry's Diner, Miami Beach. It was 8.30am and all the staff thought I was nuts. The diner itself was very cool. It's menus had 6 sides, and were about 2 foot tall (I jest thee not). Breakfast burrito anyone? The new Apple computers have embedded cameras, and some silly software that goes with it that allows the distortion of the image. It's certainly good for 20 mins of laughing when it is needed. Apparently one of the rules of composition when taking portraits (pronounced here, rather annoying, as ‘portrets’) is the use of dynamic diagonal lines . Some of them do talk shite. I always thought dynamic referred to movement. They also talk about lines ‘creating tension’ etc. I wish they’d just accept that it’s all subjective. Anyway, here was my attempt at doing just that.
