Fairies & Dreams: Guitar Concert
http://savetheboobers.blogspot.com/2008/12/guitar-concert.html
Ramblings of a 4 yr. old ballerina princess. :o). Friday, December 26, 2008. One day, I think I'll be an accoustic folk singer. I'm not phased by an audience, so it should be a great gig for me. Here's a first look inside the mind of a 4 1/2 yr. old music lover. (who desperately needs a guitar strap. lol). I hope you enjoyed yourself. Keep your eyes out for me on America's Got Talent or something. I'll keep practicing, if you keep watching my concerts. ;o). Friday, December 26, 2008. Build A Bear party.

Fake vs Real Amber – Salt Water Test. January 14, 2013. The salt water test. I’ve seen the topic come up lately a lot on facebook and I thought I would put our amber to the test. One of the simplest ways to test amber for authenticity is the ‘Salt Water Test’. Take 2 cups warm. I was still curious (I love science! So i took 2 small red plastic Legos and put them in the solution. They behaved opposite to the amber, sinking in the salt water and floating in the regular water. Using necklaces vs loose beads.

http://simplyenchantedlife.blogspot.com/2010/01/holiday-season-and-blessed-yule.html
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Holiday season and a Blessed Yule. This year, our winter holiday celebrations were quiet, subdued and simple. We had hoped to spend Thanksgiving in Michigan, as it has been two years since we have visited our friends and family there. However, things did not work out and we spent it at home. We enjoyed a semi-traditional mostly homegrown feast. Twas the night before Yule, when all through house.not a creature was stirring, not even a. She immediately fell in love with this bea...

Simply Enchanted Life: Day in Greensboro
http://simplyenchantedlife.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-in-greensboro.html
Saturday, September 12, 2009. Over Labor day weekend, my mom was in town visiting and the kids really wanted to take her to the Greensboro Science center. It is not too far from where we live, and the kids always really enjoy it. The inside science museum has exhibits for all ages, lots of interactive hand on stuff. They have several really fun play areas that encourage imaginative play, and learning activities for kids of all ages. This one is a bearded dragon. This Iguana was huge! As we started to hea...

Simply Enchanted Life: Goodbye summer.
http://simplyenchantedlife.blogspot.com/2009/10/goodbye-summer.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. I always have a hard time letting go of the summer. So every year, rather than letting myself wallow in end of summer sadness, i really try to embrace the fall season. This means noticing and appreciating the little things that define the season, the colors, the smells, the stillness. We absorb ourselves in fall leaf crafts, apple recipes and lots of hiking and time spent outdoors. We stopped at the rhododendron grove to climb trees for a bit. I believe this is called Turkey t...
