Seattle, by the cup. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Anyway, even the cookie disappointed. Instead of a crunchy outer meringue layer enveloping a gooey, sweet center, it was just a gobby scoop of under-baked, overly-sweet coconut that crumbled in our fingers as we attempted to eat it. A crisp cold October day, a ballerina topped-pink cupcake, a warm, aromatic, heart- swirled latte, a bright window seat, and my gorgeous date sitting across the tiny round table from me. All at once kitch, modern, and welcoming, Cupcake Royale is a fine establishment for discerning coffee drinkers, solo computer devotees, socializing friends, and starry eyed new lovers. In de winter van 2009 en 2010 heeft Schiphol tijdens een pilot algen ingezet voor het afbreken van glycolhoudend afvalwater. Meer gemak voor reizigers, minder ruimtegebruik. Meer vliegtuigen afhandelen, in kortere tijd, met minder materieel. In 2012 is op Schiphol een proefproject met zonnepanelen gestart. Het is een goede grondstof voor allerlei producten. Het neemt CO.
