Several years ago, my side of the family gave up doing gift exchanges (except for the kiddos) and instead we each take a turn picking an organization and all donating to it. I love this…especially since buying gifts is stressful to me. This year it was our turn, and we chose Operation Christmas Child. I have been participating since I was in college and now am elated to be doing it with my kiddos. Peter chucking the balls everywhere.

Parenting older children takes more energy and interruptions to sleep for the past year from pregnancy and a newborn have called for extra videos and book sessions on the couch to make it through the day!
