Mrs. Thorson was my reading teacher in fifth and sixth grades. She attended our wedding and even visited my classroom a few years ago. It was great to have her see me in action, since she is one of the people who made me want to be a teacher. Anyway, she was visiting Mom today, so we met them for lunch and she got to meet Ike!

We had 5 toddlers (including Ike) and two babies (under 1) instead of the usual group of 7-10. They certainly were busy though! I had hoped to have everyone check out the new swing set, but the windy/chilly weather kept us moms inside. We may have to wait several weeks before trying again. The next few days are supposed to be cold and rainy. My Blog Has MOVED!

It's hard to tell who's more excited- Daddy, Mommy or Ike! Luckily, the weather has been BEAUTIFUL this week, so we were able to go out again today. Monday, February 21, 2011. We haven't been outside to measure it, but our street was completely covered this morning. J is home from work as all of the metro Atlanta area is under a blanket of white. I like Ike: 2 Year Checkup

CLICK HERE FOR FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES, LINK BUTTONS AND MORE! Monday, February 21, 2011. Ike had his 2 year checkup with Dr. H. this past week. It was probably the fastest appointment we've ever had. Dr. H. said he is doing just fine. Ike wasn't too happy to be at the doctor's office, but thankfully Dr. H. survived without getting kicked! There weren't any shots this time, and his next well-check isn't until he's three! Let's just hope we can manage to stay away from the doctor's office until then.
