ALTERATIVE: Gradually improves the nutritional state of the body. ANALGESIC: Relieves or reduces pain. ANAPHRODISIAC: Reduces sexual desire. ANESTHETIC: Numbs the nerves and causes a loss of sensation. ANTHELMINTIC: Expels or kills intestinal worms. ANTIDEPRESSANT: Reduces or prevents depression. ANTIDOTE: Counteracts a poison.
