From City to Country Life. Monday, November 12, 2012. I haven't posted in months and I have been chastised for it. Repeatedly. I have been busy, but also just very lazy. The kids started school in mid-August. How nice is it to have ALL the kids in school all day 4 days a week? We don't have school on Mondays here.) So nice that I have become lazy and spoiled. My only 'job' is maintaining the house and caring for our animals. And still I am surprisingly behind on laundry. ugh! Our animals are doing well.

From City to Country Life. Monday, November 25, 2013. Gone for awhile. Part 1. I nearly forgot that I had this blog. Nearly. This past year has been a busy one for our family. As far as animals go, we have had some changes. We started out the year with two goats (one buck "on loan"), two sheep, 14 hens and a rooster, two cats, and a dog. Here is Cheese, Bella, and Meadow enjoying the snow in late December 2012. They found a great home together. In July we added another animal. We now have a dairy cow!

She recently had surgery at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She was very brave about the whole thing, despite the pain. Some of the girls were able to visit her in the hospital last Sunday. For the ceremony we can seat 30 in the same room or 60 if you want to stand. The facility will accommodate up to 150 guests in 3 common areas or expand outside when weather permits. Parties, Showers, Celebrations of Life, or Baptisms. Common space is available on the sun porch, formal living room and formal dining room. Additionally, each area offers intimate seating at tables if that meets your need. A total of 45 can be seated in three rooms combined. A Very Special Venue. Live or Recorded Music.

My mom came to spend Thanksgiving with us and since it was single digits or below zero the whole time she was here.we stayed inside a lot. Dillan decided one day to make a fort out of blankets. It was ever so convenient that our legs helped give support to the blankets. He did this all by himself. Jeremy's little sister got married the week of Thanksgiving! Monday, November 15, 2010.
