I am staying at Big John's hostel in Bangkok in the non-airconditioned rooftop room.As the rush hour draws nearer you will find yourself waking up in a wave of sound, which as a whole is really quite loud, but since all the noises are approximately the same level, and cover almos the full spectrum of sounds frequencies, you actually feel like you are floating in a gently rippling pool of sound. Ok, time for bed.

Did not feel as big as i thought it would despite its sprawling nature. overall the streets are quite small - even the main ones - and there are not really very many highrises.
