Trying to live a natural life with balance. July 13, 2016. Zasta with Tomatoes and Goat Cheese. My garden has been very productive this year. I’m quite proud of myself as each year I have learned something new that has led to this year’s success. I’m picking 1-3 dozen cherry tomatoes every day. I’ve had eggplants, zucchini, lots of jalapenos, and plenty of crookneck squash. This has led to some very delicious meals! This was two weeks ago…it’s even fuller now! I hope you enjoy this meal as much as we did!

A place for all of my random thoughts. I love my garden. It’s my summer sanctuary. I grew up learning to garden. We had a HUGE garden and orchard and we put up a lot of our own food. Now that I have my own household and family to feed, I really enjoy being able to grown and harvest my own food.
