Our Lives as a Family of Four! Friday, July 16, 2010. A few weeks ago on our way up to the cottage we saw a Kite Festival going on in Oshkosh so we pulled off and joined in. The kites were fantastic. The giant octopus in the picture was 40 ft. wide and 140 ft long! Getting ready to launch! They played Riley's favorite song, "Lets Go Fly a Kite" while she was flying her kite. She was so excited. We have decided that it was about time we got ready for the baby. Riley wanted to pitch in and help too!

Our Lives as a Family of Four! Wednesday, June 16, 2010. A Week with NeeNee and Pops. Dustin was in San Francisco for a week on a business trip so Riley and I spent the week up at Nee Nee and Pops' house. We had a fabulous time. Posted by Kate at 2:41 PM. On Father's Day weekend there was a fundraiser event being held in Eagle in the neighborhood that was destroyed by the tornado last year. Good friends of our had just bought a house in that neighborhood a week before the tornado hit. They rebuilt their home from the ground up, literally! We stopped by the fundraiser to show support and look who we ran into walking down the street! The kids were so excited, especially Jackson! I think he looks just adorable! Ready for the candy!

Lexi's Birthday Trip to Chicago and American Girl. Posted by Kate at 10:15 AM. This year for Lexi's 7th birthday we decided to take her down to Chicago for the day at American Girl. Lexi brought her Bitty Baby, Holly and her other doll Lanie. We also had a friend of Lexi's, Breanna, cone along with us. We rode the Amtrak down to Chicago and the girls just loved it! Lexi's dolls went the the doll salon to get cleaned up and to get their hair done! Just outside Union Station, getting ready to leave Chicago.

Here is a photo of our back deck after the first round of snow was finished and the second round was just beginning. And here is that same back deck just 8 hours later! Brian and Jack headed outside to shovel a path for Cassius and to clear the snow away from the back door! Jackson was standing here.that's how deep this drift was!
