This is a dry and rocky road in the summer. Spring run-off makes it a stream. More snow, mud, water. Getting harder to keep my feet dry. Near the top of Hog’s Hollow. More snow. We loved Sundance back in those days for the same reason I purchased a season pass there this season; it was cheap and close. However, even back in those days we called the resort Scumdance because they always got less snow that the other resorts which sit at higher elevations. This year was no different. On August 1 of this summer I bagged Kings Peak, the highest point in Utah at an elevation of 13,528 feet. I wish I had been able to do write up sooner so that the memories were still fresh on my mind, but time has not allowed until now. I guess that’s just how things go sometimes. View along lower section of trail. Typical view of trail and blue sky. Walk way over boggy section.
