She came home from daycare on Wednesday with her first “school project”–a turkey made of cutouts of her hand and footprints. We spent Thanksgiving day at Rob and Rene’s. (Rob is Bethany’s cousin.) All Because of You. Sunday, July 18, 2010. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. We had a very successful first outing to Turner Field today! A rain delay allowed Jack to catch a decent nap in the car, our seats were pretty nice (and cheap! And the Braves made us proud (Braves 11, Brewers 6). Jack just quietly took the whole spectacle in (like a real fan, he couldn't be bothered to pose for the camera here). We were both surprised to make it quite as long as we did- 6 innings! We spent the rest of the weekend at Michelle's beautiful farm in Franklin with the rest of the VGS. Gang, some of my favorite people in the world. Jack was so friendly, eating up all the attention that everyone so generously lavished on him. This was the first time in my VGS. Oh, yes, I saw mice that weekend.

All Because of You. Monday, October 4, 2010. Saturday turned out to be a perfect day for a little backyard birthday bash. We had a wonderful time celebrating with our friends and family and lots and lots of food :). And sang happy birthday. And blew out a single candle. And devoured a cupcake with some serious single-mindedness. And opened some lovely gifts (with a little assistance from our friends). As usual when he is in a crowd, Jack sat back during his party and just soaked it all in.

Monday, December 9, 2013. November came and went in a hurry! I had a birthday, then our sweet Harper celebrated her 5th birthday! We made it to Iuka for a Thanksgiving gathering, Claire and Ken had birthdays and then we decorated the new place for Christmas. Take a closer look:. Kids colored a Christmas ornament.
