The Happy Eater

Tuesday, August 12, 2008. This past weekend I had the privilege of attending the baptism of my precious goddaughter, Elizabeth's, baptism in Michigan. She is such a beautiful girl and I am honored to be her godparent (along with my husband). After the baptism service we had quite the fantastic brunch at the Alpen Rose in Holland. It was. There was such a variety of delicious food that I didn't know where to begin. My first round up I had cheesy mashed potatoes and blueberry pancakes all on one plate!

The Happy Eater: August 2007

http://www.thehappyeater-rachel.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 26, 2007. Have you ever been so hungry that the simplest of meals turns out to be great? There are no complaints here for hospital food! Friday, August 3, 2007. This past weekend I had the wonderful experience of staying at my aunt and uncle’s house in Illinois. Going to their house is like being on a retreat. I enjoyed good company, a relaxing pool, and wonderful hospitality. What does this have to do with “The Happy Eater” you ask? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Here I am with my son, Nathan.

The Happy Eater: Not what we planned on...

http://www.thehappyeater-rachel.blogspot.com/2008/03/not-what-we-planned-on.html

Sunday, March 16, 2008. Not what we planned on. On Thursday night my mom brought me a pint of Ben and Jerry's NY Super Fudge to help me unwind after a stressful day. On Friday night my mom made her incredible guacamole as an appetizer and then for dinner we had NJ pizza. On Saturday I went to the Montville Diner with my high school BFF and I had a wonderful cheeseburger deluxe. It was SO good! But for the two more days I am here I will enjoy all the special food I can! See you this weekend. Here I am wit...

The Happy Eater: The Secret is Out....

http://www.thehappyeater-rachel.blogspot.com/2008/06/secret-is-out.html

Monday, June 23, 2008. The Secret is Out. We are happy to be welcoming our second child sometime around December 11! A few weeks ago my family took a trip to Northern Michigan (and a few other quick stops around the state) and we got to share our news in person. While being on that trip I ate some wonderful meals and I'd like to highlight some of my favorites:. When visiting my sister-in-law and bro-in-law they grilled us a tasty dinner of Italian chicken, potatoes, and, again, a side salad. I had a wond...

The Happy Eater: September 2007

http://www.thehappyeater-rachel.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 27, 2007. Proud to be from New Jersey! Being from NJ I have a lot to be proud of. For one thing, there’s Springsteen and Bon Jovi. And then there’s more…we’ve got the Jersey shore, close proximity to NYC, and even some decent skiing mountains. Although there are many more great things about the Garden State that I could discuss, this blog is dedicated to great food which one can find lots of in NJ. I can’t wait to share my happy eating experiences with you! Thursday, September 13, 2007.

Crafts, ideas, and other stuff from life in my shoes. For our wedding, my fiance and i wanted to display photos somehow but are anti-slideshow. in the past i've loved the slide show at weddings; its entertaining and makes people laugh, but more importantly i loved seeing how many times i was in it. many of the shows i've seen have been of people who were 10 years younger than i, leaving me with a lot more snaps to play through! Great balls of flower. I am getting married! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
