Julia and Sterling: September 2013
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 6, 2013. A month in review. Sterling trying to bathe Cohen without getting wet. Cohen-1. Sterling- 0. A new Hopkins onesie to support Sterling. =). Sterling had a shirt that I LOVED, but the elbows had ripped.twice. I just didn't want to let it go, so I decided to make a romper out of it for Cohen! I won't say how long it took me, but it actually turned out! Since my sewing adventure was a success, I decided to make a circle skirt (which I love, and think are soooo cute! This is where t...

Julia and Sterling: Tennessee
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2015/04/tennessee.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. Just a warning: picture overload. It's been several months and I just realized I never posted our Christmas. So, this may be out of order, but here are some fun Tennessee pictures that I found. My first rodeo (and Cohen's). He still talks about the "jumping cows". We went to some waterfalls one weekend. It was cold, but beautiful. Then we played with "Mickey Mouse". Yeah, we didn't correct him. The Parthenon, Nashville. Not planned, yet matching.so we took a picture. Jacob and Ke...

Julia and Sterling: December 2013
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 18, 2013. It was my first snow day ever! Work and school were cancelled last week for a big snow storm that was supposed to hit. It did snow.some, and we all enjoyed our day off! Cohen threw his first snowballs. Built his first snowman. Stomped around with me in the snow. And got lots of reading time with Sterling (Brown Bear, Brown Bear.over and over and over). I think I'm ready for another snow day! That worked out pretty well. =) It was delicious! Val is always such an amazing chef!

Julia and Sterling: October 2014
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 13, 2014. I think we're going to Boston. Well, I'm pretty positive! We started out this year (school year) moving every 2-4 weeks for Sterling's rotations. We were preparing for The Match (the residency application process), and everything was in order. Then, we got a huge. Opportunity that just came out of nowhere. Okay, I'm not complaining here, but why do I ever. We are excited to explore Boston, and have a job! It will be a fun new adventure in this crazy life of ours! Sterling finish...

Julia and Sterling: June 2014
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2014. First rotation is in Philly. Luckily, we received a list with some housing options, so we were able to rent a room for pretty cheap. There are actually three rooms and a shared living space, complete with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (phew! Stove was left off of the list.oh wait, no, it's just nonexistent. The landlord did buy a nuwave induction cooktop though, and it has been a life-saver! How did I not know that before? Monday I decided we'd go play at the park....

Julia and Sterling: April 2014
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 19, 2014. We also headed down to Annapolis. It was supposed to be warm and sunny.it was quite the opposite, but it was still fun to see. We also tried this Smith Island Cake (for which Maryland is apparently known). It was very rich, and to be honest.not my favorite. But we tried it! We also went to a state park on the Chesapeake Bay. It was a little chilly, but it was beautiful! Cohen had fun exploring, and we found lots of lady bugs for him to hold. Cohen's finally in nursery! Sterling ...

Julia and Sterling: November 2013
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 24, 2013. We found this shed and tree stump right in our alley! We did get some not-so-city pictures at a nearby park too when we went for a picnic. This boy loves stomping leaves! Wednesday, November 6, 2013. I can't believe he already turned one! Sometimes it seems similar to my mission; the days are long but the weeks go by quickly. When I look back at how tiny he was before I can't believe how much he has grown! Thanks everyone for all of the gifts! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sterli...

Julia and Sterling: January 2015
http://pickledharing.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Sterling had a presentation in San Fransisco over Cohen's birthday, so we decided we'd all go out together. None of us had ever visited, so we were excited to experience it. We only had a couple days, but we fit quite a bit in. It was fun, but all of the hills made us pretty carsick. Besides that we really enjoyed ourselves. =). We woke up pretty early (though the time difference made it easier) and headed up to see the redwoods. I can't believe how fast this past year has gone!
