A snapshot into the life and times of the Harkins Household. Baby Steps →. August 17, 2013. Today was lake day at Grammy and Oompa’s house! You see, they have a new house out there at the lake. And let me tell you, this smile pretty much sums up my day…. I love playing there…Grammy and Oompa are tons of fun! And Fergie is, too! I played with Fergie’s ball…. I figured out how to throw it just for Fergie to bring it back to me! Every time I threw it, we clapped…like this! My hair was blowing in the wind!

A snapshot into the life and times of the Harkins Household. 61 days →. February 25, 2013. Yesterday was a beautiful, snowy, winter day. After snowing all night and morning, the sun came out in the late afternoon…creating the perfect day for sledding. So it was decided. It was time for Micah’s first sledding experience. Thanks to our dear friends, Alex and Noel, we were able to borrow a perfect, Micah-sized sled. On the way down the mountain, our tuckered out boy fell fast asleep. I sure love my daddy.

Friday, February 13, 2015. Fast Forward 15 months. Making sure I keep that in check. I have a huge list of books to read. Planning to share them here with any reflections I have, and probably any questions it causes me to still ponder. I'd love to hear others thoughts! So with that said, here we are. The 5 of us. The Harkness Hotel | Unexpected Luxury
What’s in the area? What’s in the area? He Harkness Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located in a 108 year old building listed on the National Historic Registry. We opened in July 2014. The building was built in 1906 and was the McCammon State Bank building (the vault is now the hotel gift shop), with a mercantile store, post office and apartments also located in it. The Harkness Hotel offers modern luxury infused with historic elegance. We look forward to sharing it with you. 3 hrs south of Yellowstone.
