Friday, February 11, 2011. Project 52 - Week 6. An Update on Kate. Kate's surgery on the 31st was a success. She lost very little blood and came through well with a pretty easy recovery. She had some post operative pain the evening of the surgery and the next day but by the third day she was just needing a bit of tylenol. Graham and I came through pretty well too except for needing an adjustment at the chiropractor after sleeping on hospital chairbeds and recliners for 3 nights. For Kate to handle the su...

Sunshine & Sewing: Project 52 - Week 3

Thursday, January 27, 2011. Project 52 - Week 3. Catching up with Katie-boo. This post is a week late as well. Kate now has her bottom two middle teeth and we think she might be getting more. Greta was a big drooler when getting teeth but Kate never has been so other than some mild fussiness there's really no indication Kate is getting teeth until they come in.unless you are a dentist since Jack's dad predicted Kate was getting teeth and sure enough they were in the next week. Our Traveling Nest: July 2014
http://ourtravelingnest.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2014. We had a BIG day in our house last Saturday! Eliza said goodbye to her beloved mimis! This girl had a serious LOVE (maybe addiction? Thanks to my sister-in-laws tips (she's been successful with this method twice) Eliza is pacifier free! I was skeptical that it would work with as much ease as it did for Lindsey's children but it did! When Saturday morning rolled around (which also happened to be my birthday! Eliza proudly walked them to the mailbox and said goodbye! The beginning o...

Our Traveling Nest: Weldon's 1st Birthday {Woodland Party}
http://ourtravelingnest.blogspot.com/2015/04/weldons-1st-birthday-woodland-party.html
Monday, April 6, 2015. Weldons 1st Birthday {Woodland Party}. The theme of Weldon's first birthday was pretty much a no-brainer. I threw around the idea of several different party themes but when it came down to it, a woodland party was just perfect for our little man. (Not to mention we pretty much had all the decorations already on display in Will's man cave! Entry table decorations Weldon's birthday invitation. The fox (Will shot several years ago) came upstairs for the party. Love that little owl.

Sunshine & Sewing: March 2009
http://ubthere2.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Before I forget I wanted to post some cute Greta stories and facts. Most of these pertain to her girly-ness. Loves bows. I mean REALLY loves bows. Wants to wear one at all times, even when going to bed. I have to convince her that you don't wear bows to bed. I can put one in her hair and she insists she still needs a bow. This ends in me showing her the hairbows in the mirror. Greta loves to dance and twirl. Just wait till she gets the twirly dress I'm making her! The girl is a f...

Sunshine & Sewing: Project 52 - Week 4
http://ubthere2.blogspot.com/2011/01/project-52-week-4.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. Project 52 - Week 4. I've decided that for better and not for worse I clean like my mother. I think the reason is two fold: 1) She taught me how to clean a house and 2) We have similar personalities particularly as it relates to orderliness. If I was able to do everything exactly as I liked and I had the time to do it:. Mondays would be the day I clean the living room. Tuesdays would be for Bathrooms. Wednesdays would be Bedrooms. Fridays would be the kitchen. So this week I wan...

Saturday, April 25, 2009. Bedding for the Babies. Since my lovely sister does not have a blog to share such things I will post about our nursery bedding excursions here. Burlington was our last stop. It's an extremely ghetto store (is it like that everywhere? But they had a large baby section and an extremely helpful worker. Baby Girl B will have this bedding:. And Baby Boy A will have this bedding:. The walls will probably be painted yellow. Links to this post. Hear Ye, Hear Ye. Did tinkle on the potty.
