Nielsen's Nostalgia: Rylan David Nielsen
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/rylan-david-nielsen.html
April 17, 2012. Rylan is 2 1/2 years old now! He is officially potty trained! Talking so well and in complete sentences. It surprises me sometimes the things he says to me and how clear they come out. Rylan is a huge helper around the house! He's very curious and is always asking questions. The other day he came up to me and told me he was ready for school! Rylan is very smart! He remembers almost everything! I have to be careful what I say and promise him because he. He loves his sister Addilyn! They pl...

Nielsen's Nostalgia: December 2011
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/december-2011.html
April 9, 2012. November. has it really been that long? Well let's catch up to date! I love the month of December, it's always such a fun month! Between putting up the Christmas tree and adding the ornaments the kids had a little fun. I walked into the room to see this. Addilyn and Rylan discovered they could crawl under the tree. I made sure to clarify that this was the only time it was okay after I put up all of the ornaments. :). Christmas was amazing this year! And even Santa stopped by to visit!

Nielsen's Nostalgia: March 2011
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
March 27, 2011. Rylan- dumped the blocks, pushed the bucket all the way to the kitchen, turned it upside down, climbed on top, opened the drawer, grabbed the hot pad. all on his own. :). Posted by Stacey and Kyle Nielsen. March 18, 2011. Okay I can't believe that I'm actually going to post about this, but Rylan gets soo happy and excited every time I just had to. He'll wait and wait. Rylan waiting for the garbage truck. Until it finally appears! I love his reaction every time! March 16, 2011. This was Ry...

Grin 'n Barrett- Enduring and Loving All of Life. Making Memories and Keeping Them. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. By Way of Comparison. I know you shouldn't compare your children to each other, but I can't help but compare how Seth and Grace looked (or now look) at their major mile stones. These are pictures of them at the same ages. They definitely have some similarities, and a lot of differences. Grace a few weeks old. Seth a few weeks old. Grace, first birthday. Seth, First Birthday. Links to this post.

Nielsen's Nostalgia: October 2010
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
October 25, 2010. Rylan inside this miniature tunnel made out of hay barrels (a little unsure). Sitting inside a corn pit- like a huge sand box but instead of sand, filled with corn! Addilyn of course slept through the entire thing. Maybe next year! We do have a ton of pictures of all that we did, but this will be a long post already so I kept it short. It was a lot of fun and I think a lot for Rylan to take in. He was asleep before we even got to the interstate (a 3 minute drive). His new favorite these...

Nielsen's Nostalgia: More fun in the month of March!
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/more-fun-in-month-of-march.html
April 16, 2012. More fun in the month of March! It snowed twice for us in the month of March! The only two times all winter long where there was more then a dusting of snow and it lasted long enough for us to go out and play! Addilyn all bundled up ready to go. I made Addilyn a snowball and handed it to her for her to throw. She decided she'd take a bite of it instead. :). We were able to build our first snowman ever! Rylan loves Buzz and Woody from Toy Story! He was so excited! Embarrassed to ride the e...

April 24, 2011. Utah's Hogle Zoo Trip. Two Saturdays ago we went to the zoo. It was suppose to be a pretty decent day, but we ended up wearing our coats the entire time. We still had a blast though! All winter long Rylan has been really into animals and animal noises! So we were really excited to take him to the zoo to see them real and up close! Rylan made new friends! Addilyn chilled in the stroller most of the time. Family photo with the Rhinoceros. The Giraffe's were pretty friendly! April 20, 2011.

February 16, 2011. My two luv bugs :). We do a lot of hanging out here at home so once again. here are a few random pictures of the past few weeks. Rylan had a huge smile in the picture below, but you can't see it. He thought it was so cool to be able pull his sister around in the wagon. I don't understand, but I think it's some game he likes to play. So here he is during the sweet part of it :). Rylan and his boots. he'd walk around in them all day if he could. Nielsen's Nostalgia: June 2011
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 28, 2011. Sunday at a nearby park, Addilyn discovered more of this thing we call grass with her Grammy. Here's a little photo sideshow of how it played out. She was left sitting by herself in the grass (not on Grammy's lap), tried to crawl back to her, decided she didn't like how it felt, sat back up and squealed while she reached for her, and then after realizing that it wasn't that bad.she started clapping her hands and smiled pretty for the camera. This little girl makes me smile! June 27, 2011.
