Over The Hedge: December 2009

http://www.thehedgerfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

A last post for 2009. I am posting to my blog on this chilly New Years Eve and yet…have nothing really profound to say – just a few little bits and pieces. I have been putting the final touches on the Christmas “pack-up”. I finally took the Santa down from the shelf next to my bedroom and he is sitting on the kitchen counter waiting to go into the plastic tub – I look forward to seeing him next year since the shelf looks plain and boring without him. They are that CUTE! My mom and Dad got us a new comfor...

Chesley performed this past Friday in her school's version of American Idol. It is something she has. Looked forward to since she made the top 5 last year and placed 4th. This year she won first place! Woo Hoo - we were really proud of her. We all think she is so BRAVE for getting up in front of her school and singing.she never bats an eye! Sports, Sports, and more Sports! I would like to know how I ended up with athletic kids. Chance would like to know also – considering the choice he made in the marriage department. I love to watch these kids do their “thing’ on the field. They really are impressive little machines. I try to remind myself of this fact when I am sitting in the semi-shade (mind you it IS. The giant waterslide at baseball camp – they look forward to this all week! Cutter is in the Longhorn cap). Rebel Roaster Tournament 2011.

Henrys: September 2011

http://thefourhenrys.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 7, 2011. I am really excited about this post because it means that I can finally say those words I've longed to hear myself say. Fence project is underway. Yes, even with all the long hours/ hardwork. Running back and forth, we cannot wait for the end result! Blaine is at his comfort zone when he is with his daddy, busy in the dirt. Blaine loved breaking open the bags of concrete. I was the supervisor (aka - driver and I cleaned up their mess). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). JUNKstill o...

Monday, April 25, 2011. So the kids are starting to make their beds in the morning and Blaine really takes this seriously! Over the past few weeks, I've discovered Brooke just throws her bed together.litteraly.she is such the Pre. Blaine, however, takes about 15 minutes and makes sure his sheets are straight and this morning cracked me up so I just had to share! Alex is his White Tiger that is blind and missing a nose. HE ADORE's. This little guy and this morning he was part of his "make the bed" routine!

http://singingbeechesley.blogspot.com/2009/08/chemical-way.html

Wednesday, August 5, 2009. I was so scared to have my hair "chemically" straightened, but it was worth it! During the first step it was almost unbearable, If i didn't have a towel around my nose and my mouth I might have thrown up.ugh! The smell was disgusting! Loleven though there isn't a HUGE difference in my hair.it is so much easier to fix! PS Im just glad my hair didn't fall out! August 6, 2009 at 6:23 AM. August 6, 2009 at 7:00 AM. I used to do that when i was your age. It is stinky but worth it.

Home on the Range. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She Just Takes the Tractor Another Round. We had to do a little of this first. This was Ashley's first lawn mowing experience, and she did a pretty good job. Now you notice I did say "pretty good". She missed a few spots and she did nearly take out a bush and crashed into our concrete tree rings.oh and her lines were a little crooked, but overall she was a big help. Written with love by. Sunday, August 28, 2011. 9 months and 10 months. Channing at 9 months, playing in her swimming pool in the back yard. July 25, 2011. Channing at 10 months, August 28, 2011.  She is so ornery! She is still doing the “army crawl” (check out the red knees in the picture), pulling up on everything, and putting everything in her mouth! It is so cool to see her little personality emerging…a quiet, laid back Campbell, she is NOT! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. 9 months and 10 months.

Rockin along with the Roark's: Fun Day Out

http://theroarkblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/fun-day-out.html

Saturday, June 27, 2009. We love summer because our grandkids get to come for a visit. Cambry and Cutter got to come first and we have had soooo much fun. Yesterday we went bowling. Cutter bowled several strikes and spares. Cambry got her thumb stuck in her bowling ball several times. Nana well she needs more practice. June 27, 2009 at 6:04 PM. How come my kids look older than when they left! I am really starting to miss them. I know they are having so much fun and probably never want to come home.

Walk: Kiplingcotes Chalk Pit Nature Reserve. Had a lovely walk today with my family at Kiplingcotes Chalk Pit Nature Reserve in the Yorkshire Wolds. We saw several brown Ringlet butterflies with delicate white circles on their wings and a Cinnabar moth with its striking black and red wings. The birds were out in force and we saw/heard the following:. Yellowhammers – distinctive ‘little bit of bread and no cheese’ call. White throats – call similar to a breathy cough.
