We were on our way to the park and Tess was "making phone calls" on the little play cell phone Zach got for his birthday (she insists it's hers). She said she was going to call Granny, paused for a few seconds and then said: "'sup, 'sup G-dawg." I laughed out loud! Her conversations on that phone get better everyday! She loved chasing them and we had fun watching her enthusiasm! Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. We all went to Sam Rayburn on a family camping trip for Uncle Mack's 30th birthday (and Uncle Russell's 31st). We had lots of fun and ate great food. Is it cheating to sleep in cabins? A game of peek-a-boo begins.

The kids had lots of fun playing on the slide, playing fetch with Jack and tackling uncle Andrew. And, yes, that's my son licking water off the little picnic table while pretending to be a puppy. Mommy's Halloween Photo Shoot. They enjoyed playing in their costumes, so I guess it was a success. :). First Day Little Hearts School. Just look at those curls! Aren't I a cutie?

Saturday, September 19, 2009. Yesterday it finally happened.two weeks to the day after their birth, we were released from the hospital and NICU. WOOOOO HOOOOO! They still have to take vitamins, iron, and have NEOSURE added to their bottles every day. Upon release Ella weighed 4lbs15oz and Owen weighed 4lbs14oz-both have surpassed their birth weights. Another year of Mad Science fun proved to be a success at Trunk-r-Treat. With over 1400 in attendance it was a big hit! My family always has fun with costumes, make-up, and music. the kids really enjoyed the "test tube" ice pops we handed out as treats (especially before the sun went down), and then glow sticks in the dark made for mad fun. Seth has always loved knights and castles (his room even has this theme), so when the Lego tour came through Waco in August we had to go! Yes, I did say August. Although the girls had the beach just a short walk away from the resort. All Tylee and Hallie wanted to do was swim in the pool. They woke every morning ready to head out for a swim. Hallie learned how to swim with floaters on her arms this trip. Tylee loves to just jump right into the water with no worries. Family at Disney World.
