It was purely a money-making venture and very commercial, playing at lots of pubs and clubs within the Kent area. Paul and John used to play together in the band Pipe Dream. But this time they didn't need any other musicians and used an Atari 1040 STE computer to write and perform their songs. All the following songs were written by Paul Skingley and John Buckingham.

They were named after a couple of events around this time: The murder of Blair Peach at an anti National Front demonstration in Southall, west London. He was hit over the head by an officer of the Special Patrol Group Police Force (all of which has recently been proved - we had to wait a long time tho - April 2010). Was living in Maidstone in Kent that he answered an advert on the wall of a music shop for a keyboard player. When he phoned the number the drummer said that the advert had been there for a couple of years and that they had given up looking for a keyboard player, but he said that he would see if he could get the guys back together again. Tall Man Thin was reborn!
