The Nall Knoll: Reasons Why from Colossians 3
http://dennetts.blogspot.com/2014/05/reasons-why-from-colossians-3.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Reasons Why from Colossians 3. I should seek the things above, where Christ is, because I have been raised up with Christ. Because I have died and my life is now hidden with Christ in God, I should set my mind on things above. I will consider the members of my earthly body dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed because I will be revealed with Him in glory, and also because it is for these things that the wrath of God will come. The Nall Knoll: June 2014
http://dennetts.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Apparently, tempera paints have baking soda in them. Who knew? So we stuck them in a snack-sized ziploc bag with some vinegar and watched them explode. Our first attempt, the red one, didn't work because it was a sandwich bag. It needed less space in order to explode. You can see the white paint shooting out of the bag. I didn't get anymore photos because it was so much fun to watch. After we exploded several bags, we let them paint with it. He was very proud of his paint job.

The Nall Knoll: March 2013
http://dennetts.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 17, 2013. We recently started step two in a very long house remodel plan. The end point is remodeling our main bathroom and adding much-needed square footage to my older sons' bedroom (along with a closet). Step one of the plan was weatherproofing one of our outbuildings so it could be more of a tool shed/storage building. That needed to be done so that we could empty out our utility room and create space for a closet coming from our master bedroom. The closet doorway from our bedroom.

Thursday, June 27, 2013. Blessed are the Cheesemakers. Mmmmraw goat's milk. Milked by my own hands. There's that yummy cream climbing up the sides. I scoop it off every morning before we drink the milk. Once I have a cup or two of cream, I make butter. I've already done it once and it is delicious! It's not quite as hard as cow's milk butter. Toast with some real butter and some blueberry jam given to me from some friends and I'm in heaven. I decided to try my hand at goats cheese. 20 Buff Rocks and 10 D...

Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Lessons on Hank Williams. My mom came one evening to our house to visit with us. Somehow we got on the subject of Hank Williams and soon we were watching some YouTube videos of him and his son. Silas and Eli were fascinated, so we told them a few things about them both. Soon both boys wanted to do their impressions of Hank Williams Sr. Monday, April 1, 2013. My Youngest Son Steals My Camera. And takes some of the best pictures. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
