Over the weekend I had learnt what a lottery diabetes healthcare can be. I am lucky to have Type One rather than the pitiful care sometimes offered to those with Type Two, I am lucky to have found myself living down the road from Kings Hospital and their pioneering, internationally acclaimed diabetes team.
