Heather Feather: October 2014
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Pumpkin Patch, 2014. While Jesse was out of town for a TN football game, Emerson and I decided to find a local pumpkin patch and head out on an adventure. Emerson called all the pumpkins either "balls" or "apples." Looks like I have some work to do : ). His favorite part was riding around in the wagon. Can't believe next year I will have two little pumpkins to take with me to the pumpkin patch! Posted by Heather Feather. Saturday, October 25, 2014. There is a baby inside me!

Heather Feather: April 2015
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. Wee-New, Wee-New, Emerson Turns Two! Emerson had a fire truck themed birthday party. We chose to have a small family party this year since Emerson is too young to remember big events like this, so it was just Jesse, Henry and I. BUT that doesn't mean it wasn't a fun and special day for the little guy. By the time we got up and around for church and he had had birthday pancakes, he was feeling much better. Playing with birthday balloons before church. Henry finally woke up from h...

Heather Feather: June 2015
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 13, 2015. Henry's 5 Months Old. That famous four month sleep regression hit and this past month was all about finding ways to cope until we settled into a new sleep routine, which we eventually did. My favorite things this month was that he found his toes and his tongue. It is too cute. He still doesn't roll over, but grabbing his toes has allowed him to roll from side-to-side, so I don't think we are far off from seeing him flop on over. Naps are hit or miss on length. The morning nap...

Heather Feather: Confessions of a Mom of Two
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015/04/confessions-of-mom-of-two.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. Confessions of a Mom of Two. I am always tired, but somehow it doesn't seem to bother me. I thought I was a patient person.and then my baby grew into a monster, I mean toddler. Newborns are WAY easy compared to monsters, I mean toddlers. Showers are still like mini vacations. Laundry never ends. Somehow adding an 8 pound human to our family has extended my laundry duties by three days. It just doesn't add up. And for my final confession (as of today). Sunday, September 7, 2014. Baby Boy #2 (BB2): The First 20 Weeks, Playing Catch-Up. Where has the time gone? Oh yes, we bought and sold a house, moved, had our house painted top to bottom, installed new carpet/blinds, Emerson started Playschool, Jesse started a new job.I think you get the point. At 17 weeks we found out the gender, which you already know, BOY! I am fully expecting these two to fight like cats and dogs, but also love building forts together, playing with trucks, throwing the ball with eac...

Heather Feather: Second Year Photos of Emerson: Using My New Camera Lens
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015/06/second-year-photos-of-emerson-using-my.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Second Year Photos of Emerson: Using My New Camera Lens. I got an awesome new camera lens for my birthday, the Canon EF 50 mm (f/1.8). Love it! It's great for close up shots and gives the background a nice blurry look. The only downside to this lens is there is no zoom, so you have to be right up next to your subject to get the right shot. In this case my subject was Emerson, and well, he doesn't stay put very easily. So it meant more running around for me. Love that little tongue ...

Heather Feather: Emerson: 18-24 Months
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015/04/emerson-18-24-months.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. These past six months have brought on some major changes and challenges for Emerson. The biggest change of course was becoming a big brother in January! The second being weaned off the pacifier. Oh this was a challenge, but we did it and he has now been pacifier free for several weeks. Weaning off the pacifier took two different attempts. The first was right around when Henry was born. What were we thinking? 18 months old: Swinging is his favorite activity at the park. Aside from ...

Heather Feather: Henry's 3 Months Old
http://hfeather.blogspot.com/2015/04/henrys-3-months-old.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Henry's 3 Months Old. Today has been bittersweet for me. I love watching my baby grow, but this month he has really grown away from his newborn phase and is turning into a more alert baby and I can already see his little personality shine through. He is already a quarter of the way done with his first year! In 9 months we'll be celebrating his first birthday! Am I the mom who thinks this way? Here is a break down of this month:. He was awake every single hour! I am working more on...
