Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Thursday, July 29, 2010. The Shack, a review. Note * This is rather long for a blog entry, but it's something I worked on this summer and just thought I'd pass it on for anyone interested in reading. William P. Young. Sometimes Young hits the nail on the head with comments like this one. However, what makes this book such a controversy, and are the good points enough to overcome the negative elements within it? However, blended into the book, wit...

Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Monday, May 31, 2010. Lots of work was accomplished today:. Two hours of Bible study in Daniel this morning. Hike to the top of Devils Head Trail, about a 1,000 foot climb, 1.4 mile trail that rewarded the hiker with a gorgeous view in every direction, about 4 hours walking and climbing with new friends. Two hours preparing my first ever real lesson plan for my own real classes that will begin tomorrow! Sunday, May 30, 2010. Friday, May 28, 2010.

Stories of Our Lives: Blessings
http://lizziehannah.blogspot.com/2010/07/blessings.html
Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Thursday, July 1, 2010. I walked TO the park. We played AT the park. There is a swingset IN the park. My boy was ON the swing. He got OFF OF the swing. They loved that, because they take their kids to the park. They also learned the new vocabulary word "swingset." :). We were talking about our families, then, and our ages, and whether or not I had a boyfriend, and we spent a lot of time laughing, which was lovely. July 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM.

Stories of Our Lives: July 2009
http://lizziehannah.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Monday, July 27, 2009. Ask in My name. But just think about the fact that Jesus tells His people to ASK for things. Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.". Here's my question. What do our "whatevers" look like? When I pray for the people I love, do I just ask God to bless them or heal their sickness or et cetera? Or am I asking bigger things for them? Or perhaps, not even "bigger" things, but more specific things. Are y...

Stories of Our Lives: December 2008
http://lizziehannah.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Sorry, folks, I have Spanish on the brain. :). Ah, Christmas break. School feels like it was 100 years ago. I'm at home, enjoying my family, my sleep, my Bible, and my Spanish studying, in no particular order. It's so lovely to not have deadlines and responsibilities and pressure on every side. Over and over again the first chapters say "in Christ.in Christ.in Christ"! It's all about Him and His glory. We live for...

Stories of Our Lives: Sometimes the most important things in life aren't on a to-do list...
http://lizziehannah.blogspot.com/2010/06/sometimes-most-important-things-in-life.html
Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Sometimes the most important things in life aren't on a to-do list. But sometimes they are. I am just fascinated to serve a God who knows exactly what I need. It's been a bit of an ups-and-downsy week, one in which I have been learning to pray this prayer:. Give me greater capacities to suffer and to carry. This cross on my back as I walk to my personal Calvary. From a song by Flame). God really takes good care of us....

Here's my schedule:. 8:25 am - Christian Evidences (with Mr. Iverson) - new teacher, interesting topic, although it's not new stuff, I'm hoping to become more equipped to remember and be able to relay this information to unbelievers. 1:25 pm - Methods in TESOL II (with Mr. Harrison) - my last TESOL class! I also got a new Bible for Christmas, a beautiful, just-right-sized ES...

Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. May I Ask You a Question? The students who were from Peru or Mexico or Thailand just accepted the information, somewhat interestedly, and I could see it making sense to them at some points. The church also orders Jesus. Films and booklets called Ultimate Questions. Es muy bueno que haya gente que aun cree en dios y se dedica a hablar de él. Te felicito. July 23, 2010 at 8:04 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Stories of Our Lives: November 2009
http://lizziehannah.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Stories of Our Lives. It is God who makes our way perfect. Monday, November 23, 2009. Your face, Lord, will I seek. Yes, Susannah sister dear, I do realize that it has been 4 months since I last blogged. :). I've been wrapped up for the past few weeks in Hebrew word studies concerning words found in the books of Job and Psalms. My favorite is pānîm. From which the English word "face" is almost exclusively translated. The metaphor for face is overabundant in the Old Testament. 13:24). His heart is bre...
