Saturday, October 8, 2011. Its almost winter time and that mean lots of soup for dinner in the Holbrook House. This is one of my favorite recipes that I make all the time! 6 pieces thick-sliced bacon, chopped. 1 medium Vidalia onion, finely chopped. 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. 1 small jalapeno, chopped seeds and ribs removed. 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 4 cups chicken stock. 2 large potatoes, small diced. 1 cup heavy cream.

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Cream together until fluffy and add. 2 1/2 c. flour. 1 t baking powder. Blend together and add to mixture. Spread dough on 11x17 ungreased cookie sheet. 2 c fresh cranberries (I use whole bag). 1 sm pkg. butterscotch bits. Rinse berries and press into cookie dough. Sprinkle with butterscotch bits. We came prepared for some serious walking. Hugh really like's the band Citizen Cope so it was a bonus that they were there performing a free concert on the greenway. Good Old Georgie boy. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Back in January we went to Disney world. Here were are at the England part of the Epcot center. Hudson was kinda being a tard and would not let us take any good pictures. This was his first friend party and we had a lot of fun. Brandon did a great job as our joker and the kids loved throwing water balloons at him as he ran around.
