Tuesday, January 7, 2014. A trip to this area just wouldn't be complete without seeing some big lizards - i.e. alligators. The visit was well worth the $2 entrance fee. And a tortoise … which the worker said was either 80 years old or 80 pounds. Can't remember which. Maybe both. Monday, April 29, 2013. We have books . LOTS of books. In preparation for our return Stateside, the girls are busy sorting which to sell, give away or keep - not an easy task. Saturday, May 24, 2014. Lia and Val capped off their semester of lessons with a recital. It was a nice recital as the fourteen pianists ranged in ages from eight to sixteen. Lia and Val practiced hard and did a great job! And they had a duet. Relieved to be done …. Monday, May 19, 2014. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Florida is known for their air boats, and we got to experience it firsthand. It was a blast! With Lori's parents and her sister's family, we took off in two loud, exhilarating boats. We saw gators - young and old, tons of different birds and an otter.
