The Greatest Film Series in Cinematic History? | Luke Honeythunder

https://thehoneythunderer.wordpress.com/2013/03/13/the-greatest-film-series-in-cinema-history

On what matters, what doesn't, and everything in-between. The Greatest Film Series in Cinematic History? March 13, 2013. The films written and directed by Quentin Tarantino: Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Inglourious Basterds, Kill Bill, to name but a few. Hinted at by Tarantino himself, the infamous director’s films about vengeful sword wielding brides, bank robberies, cowboys, and vampires is a lot more intertwined than you might think. Why is this important? How do you solve a problem like Korea? Fill ...

Halfie-High Fives | Luke Honeythunder

On what matters, what doesn't, and everything in-between. October 28, 2014. I was never very good at maths. At school I was in tenth in my class (out of twelve), and at one point drove my brother to such frustration with my multiplication tables that he broke his own glasses. Yup, his own glasses. And he’s *very* shortsighted. My maths is so bad it made my brother metaphorically gouge his eyes out (p.s. 6 x 4 = 24, not 48). Told you I was never good at maths. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

How do you solve a problem like Korea? | Luke Honeythunder

https://thehoneythunderer.wordpress.com/2013/03/09/how-do-you-solve-a-problem-like-korea

On what matters, what doesn't, and everything in-between. How do you solve a problem like Korea? March 9, 2013. There were more bellicose words from a governmental committee in North Korea recently: “we will never miss the golden chance to wage a great war for national reunification.” The committee in question? It’s the type of thing which makes you think Kim Jong-Un is as crazy as a soup sandwich. So how to quash the threat of a rogue nuclear missile being sent South Korea’s way? We would know for sure ...

Her Lips - Damn Short Stories

Laquo; Cocaine Calm. I don’t know what it was I first noticed about her. Dressed plainly enough, she wore simple, form-fitting jeans and a flannel shirt with a green and black checkered pattern. Perhaps it was the clarity of her person, the unembellished form of a woman unconcerned with drab conformity. No, wait; it was nothing so high-concept as that, who am I kidding? I know what it was:. Was a perfect piece of human sculpture, gracefully twitching and flaring in concert with her startlingly full lips.

Hope you enjoy :). It’s just a feelin’ I got he said, bobbing on his heels; I’d had enough. I can’t help ya, kid. Sorry, but beat it. He sneered as he turned away, worthless dick. When I heard the pop ring out from my gun hand and watched him fall dead, I suddenly understood why somebody might wanna kill him. Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window). Six twenty seven. Please. the cashier behind the counter of Mac and Dan’s Hamburger Stand said again, this time more insistently. Don counted the bills in his wallet once more, but they’d stubbornly refused to multiply since the previous count. He considered his options. What if we take off the avocado? What’s your shirt mean? He asked, I’ve never seen a rooster teeth logo before. The cashier rolled his eyes and looked at Don though it seemed more like a leer, Don thought and half barked his reply. Click...

Failed Ideas Archives - Damn Short Stories

http://www.damnshortstories.com/category/nonworkingstories

This is a category for pieces I started on but didn’t feel that they really worked. There are any number of reasons for which I’ll put a story into this category, but one thing will be universal: these stories are unfinished and at least in my mind, unsatisfying. Didn’t really work: Out and Down. But as the hours and days wore one into the other she began to feel something she had never felt before: she felt. Continue reading →. I know, tomatoes have nearly gone out of style, but I’m still sharing these little pizzettes with you because they’re warm. And earthy and just might get you through those desperate moments when you are debating in your head between personal health/ respect for animals/sustainability/all other good reasons AND a pizza. I can’t quite explain my relationship to pizza, but it runs deep (dish). (Sorry.). Utah tomatoes are sweet and red. Slice up your last lonely tomato. Italian herbs are key! If you’re...

The Honey Thief

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. A Taste Of Honey. From a land of fire and blood, stories of charm and beauty. This dazzling narrative is full of wonders and unfamiliar magic, shadows and lightnings. The tales it tells are fascinating in their ordinariness and their strangeness. The Honey Thief is simply delightful to read on its own terms, but it also illuminates the real Afghanistan, that country many great powers have proved keen to invade but rarely to understand.

Sewing, cooking and beekeeping. Ciao, sono Carmen! How to recycle old jeans into shopper bags. All of us, adults and children, we love the jeans. Blue, black and even white, are essential in every wardrobe. And like all the things of this world, they worn out and become ugly to see and wear. Yet the resistant fabric of the jeans has still much to give us, must be recycled! So I said to myself: why not make some resistant bags? Con le parole chiave #iloverecycle. Wednesday, January 26, 2005. What a way to start a movie. Before she was a political activist and made workout videos, Jane Fonda. Did a very hot peekaboo zero gravity striptease for the title credits of Barbarella. The "five star, double-rated astronavigatrix", started off life as a comic strip drawn by Jean-Claude Forest. For V magazine in 1962. Dino De Laurentiis. Who later produced the other campy sci-fi classic Flash Gordon. Bought the rights and showed the story to French director Roger Vadim.
