I must say that this is not MY recipe, but rather from my Mom's bestest friend ever, Julia Sommers. I must give credit where credit is due. She gave it to me at my bridal shower, so many years ago, and everyone goes nuts over it. Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars. 1/2 c brown sugar. 1/3 c creamy peanut butter. 1/2 t baking soda. 2 c powdered sugar. 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa. 3-5 T boiling water.

There was never any question as to if she would be there, it was just assumed. She was a very proud, independent, and classy lady. Now, who will make her famous rum cake? Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Red, White, and Blue Cupcakes! Since I knew they'd be bringing the kids, I decided to make some cupcakes! In honor of the holiday, I made Triple Berry Cupcakes. The berries in the cupcake are blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries. I made vanilla cakes that used my homemade vanilla and a real vanilla bean. So good! Reviews from the Peanut Gallery:.
