Friday, November 9, 2012. Beautiful Fall Photo Shoot. We've had a beautiful fall here in Colorado. On the way home from school, we stopped at the park to play. I thought it would be great to get some pictures of the kids in the beautiful leaves. The kids thought it would be more fun to play. I did get a few good shots. And some passive aggression- you can take my picture, but you can't take the leaf off my head! Come on guys, just let me get a nice, normal picture and then you can play. Links to this post.

Sunday, April 8, 2012. We took advantage of beautiful weather this St. Patrick's Day and headed to downtown Denver for the parade. To say it was crowded would be an understatement. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Late Summer Trip to Idaho 2009. Come with me for a trip down memory lane. A week after school started last year, we pulled the kids out for a week-long trip to Idaho. We had glorious times picking huckleberries, playing with cousins, going to the cabin, feeding the fish in the crystal clear waters of Big Springs, and taking the boys for their first visit to Yellowstone. So, i have 15 minutes before i have to race out the door to get pace at preschool. we'll see how far i get. mostly it will just be a list of everything i hope to post in-depth about at a future (soonish? 1 we are now in seattle (well, really, issaquah). 3 we stayed for 3 weeks in a hotel (3 different hotels, actually) before we moved in. 4 it is hard to keep 6 children quiet in a hotel room for 3 weeks. 6 we got a trampoline. 11 we love our new ward.

March 31, 2015. Brooke had her 11th birthday last week. I can hardly believe she is that old and at the same time she seems older than that. I feel like I have known her forever. On her birthday we were in Disneyland for spring break, so we had to do cake and ice cream almost a week late. She also has decided to try her hand at "selfies" recently. I think she will be a pro in no time. Parker had his 9th birthday back in January. It was a good day. He did great in the races and came in third place overall.

April 8, 2015. Spring Break: Disneyland Edition. We decided somewhat last minute that we were going to take the kids to Disneyland over Spring break. We packed up the car and headed to California and spent three days at the happiest place on earth. They couldn't believe we were really there. Flying elephants and all! Elsa's ice castle in the background (they got "Frozen" added into Disneyland pretty quick). The kids all loved driving on the speedway. We took time to cool of in the fountains.
