Friday, September 12, 2014. That's how many months my sweet girl turned yesterday. Ten. I feel like the first 3-4 months cruised slowly on by and then all of the sudden time just sped up. And now here we are- prepping for her the celebration of her first year of life in two short months. Wow. I ran across this photo earlier today when I was organizing my files, and it almost took my breath away. She was three months old and still so tiny. We were just at the start of our journey. Happy 10 months, Bug!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Yes, this will be our fourth Christmas as a married couple, and we've never celebrated at our own house. Kind of sad isn't it? Here's why it's never happened:. We were newlyweds who lived in middle of nowhere Oklahoma and thus traveled to family in Texas and Alabama for the holiday. We were in transition to moving to Florida and were residing in my mom's house until mid January. Christmas in Birmingham. Jon was deployed overseas so me and our fur babies went home for Christmas.
