Monday, January 31, 2011. For the master bedroom, I turned towards fabric.com. For less than $20. I ended up making two 18" x 18" matching pillows for the bed. Last week when I was purusing the web I saw the same pillows on sale at DwellStudio (pictured above). Let me tell you, the pillows took all of ten minutes to make and as I said before cost me less than $20 total for the whole project; the DwellStuido pillows are $58 a piece and sold out. Thursday, July 7, 2011. Crate Nightstand - Before and After. So, while I was painting the other night tables, I put DP to work creating a night stand. First, I bought some legs from home depot and had DP cut them down so they were short enough to use as end-table legs. Attaching them was a bit tricky but DP managed to screw them into the slats just inside the corner blocks. The legs were new raw pine and the crate was some darker, harder, and stained wood. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Welcome to the World Benjamin Robert! Chad arrived and we were off to the hospital. I was so lucky to have both Chad and Jennie with me to help me with labor, and as a bonus Jennie took AMAZING pictures! Arrival at the hospital. Getting settled in our birthing room. Chad soothing me during a contraction while queuing up my birthing music. Before I was allowed to do my thing I had to get in the bed for a fetal monitor check. A visit from my mom. Daddy got to cut the umbilical cord.
