Tuesday, January 30, 2007. It looks like not everyone is happy with the work being done to Nagymező. The signs advertise a meeting to be held on the Saturday of last weekend at the church on the corner of Nagymező and Király. The posters from protesters are warning people that the trees on the avenue shouldn't be turned into toilet paper and they should be left alone so that they can be seen in real life and not just in photos. It's unlikely that the underground garage that was planned will go ahead.

Friday, July 29, 2005. Alka-Seltzer is my saviour today. I have great faith in it even though it let me down last weekend. This time it's going to work. Drank a mixture of margeritas. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Off to Venice on Friday, so the weekend starts here! Flight was booked ages ago. But only managed the hotel last week. Hopefully it'll be a steal of a deal at special last minute rates and not a rip-off. Never been before and really looking forward to it. Jonge stelletjes die in half donkere portieken veelbetekenende gebaren uitwisselen. De schaduw die over hun gezichten valt, als een scène uit een film noir.
