Thehungrygringo's Blog | Just another WordPress.com weblog
Just another WordPress.com weblog. June 10, 2010. Yes that is the sound a Goat makes, those repulsive 4 legged walking garbage disposal systems with creepy rectangle pupils. Yet despite all their negative attributes and qualities while alive they can be oh so tasty when dead, and properly seasoned or else it just tastes like goat which according to my girlfriend is “No Bueno”. Over all, Goat is pretty good, I still can’t stand the taste of goat milk or cheese though. April 17, 2010. March 22, 2010. And I...

Class 3A 2009 :). Tuesday, August 17, 2010. I don't know if any of you still come here to read. But just to clarify a few things. I am very very upset to see that there is so much unhappiness about. The Hungry Guinea Pig | an RD's quest for dietary empathy
An RD's quest for dietary empathy. The Hungry Guinea Pig. I have been keeping a tally of all of the sugar indulgences I would have partook in, if only. Anytime I had a craving serious enough to notice or free sweets were available and I had to turn them down, I took note. Some of the days have dates, others don’t. Here’s what I’ve recorded so far…. 1 tsp sugar (coffee). 1 caramel 4 Fruit Punch “Frooties” (leftover party candy at my house). 1 tsp sugar (coffee). Estimated imaginary sugar total: 1 2/3 cups.

Saturday, January 12, 2013. I'm mostly just posting this so that I'll have the recipe for myself in the future. I made these for General Conference last October, and again today and they were amazing! 1 cup mashed potatoes. 1 cup reserved potato cooking water. 1 cup hot water. 2 packages yeast (or slightly under 2 tablespoons). 1/2 cup warm water. 8 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, slightly more if needed. 1/2 cup butter, softened. 3 cups powdered sugar. 5 Tbs milk, or more as needed.
