We had a huge Cookie Monster birthday party with all our friends and family at our house. We had so much fun! We had BBQ, opened lots of presents, ate yummy cake, and played outside (it was beautiful day! Jack, Caleb, Grandma, and Papa. Mimi made Cookie Monster cupcakes (with Aunt Lisa's help). They were so cool! Shad, being weird. Our presents.Uncle Mike was guarding them.

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Mothers Day was so relaxing! The men of the family (and some of the younger unmarried and no-children members of the family) took it upon themselves to do all the cooking, setting up, and cleaning up for Sunday dinner. All of the mothers even got to go first in line, which hardly ever happens. Why does food taste so much better when you don't have to cook it yourself?
