Hypothetically Speaking...

Saturday, April 10, 2010. Well, I never was very faithful in the blogging department, but since I've been at Uni, I've been perfectly hopeless. I took to writing poetry over the summer. a requirement for the course I was doing. And would have enjoyed it, too, if it weren't for the deadlines. This is the one I think is best. Hypothetically Speaking...: October 2008

http://thehypothetical.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 27, 2008. I Hate to Repeat Myself. A friend of mine and I swapped a sentence each to make a story out of said sentence. He gave me "Molly and the Caterer." Take a few liberties with conjunctions and whatnot, this was the result:. Such a choice was now before Edmund Dotteridge. There it lay on the counter. Steak or Mince? And they always tried to sneak bits of veggies in: peas, carrots, corn, that sort of thing. It was a hard call. He chose poorly. Or the digestive tract of the animal?

Hypothetically Speaking...: Tolkien On Imagination

http://thehypothetical.blogspot.com/2009/06/tolkien-on-imagination.html

Friday, June 26, 2009. From the Notion Club Papers. Which is included in Sauron Defeated. I thought it rather interesting. 8216;When you are writing a story, for instance, you can (if you’re a vivid visualizer, as I am, and are clearly visualizing the scene). But they do seem to come prefabricated, to a certain degree, which helps in describing detail. Anyhow, I, as I said, thought it was an interesting quote. Labels: C S Lewis. J R R Tolkien. Yes, thats neat. For the and blog? Yep, I like Tolkeins quote...

Monday, March 30, 2009. Further and Further On; A Tale of Faerie: Part One: How They Left Home. Edit: 4 September 09, This is actually pretty outdated now. I've revised it quite a bit, for those of you who scroll down this far. Once there were two brothers. Ingold and Ingram the sons of Ingame were their names, and they where proud to be called by them. They were the times the brothers loved best. They would sit with eyes shining eagerly in the firelight loving each word they heard spoken. As Ingram list...

Hypothetically Speaking...: December 2008

Sunday, December 14, 2008. Twelve Red Roses: The Continuing Narrative. 8220;The Boss wants you…” began Ruben, but with the suddenness of a car breaking suddenly, the driver suddenly broke the car. We were brutally thrown forward, and if we hadn’t “made it click,” things could have gotten messy. 8221; yelled Ruben. “What the hang was that? 8220;Sir,” said the driver, “By adroitly breaking, I have avoided sustaining considerable injuries to our fender, sir.”. 8220;How’s that? 8220;Yes, sir.”. 8220;This is ...

http://confabulism.blogspot.com/2008/10/happy-wanderings-1.html

The practice of confabulting (talking informally, or filling in gaps in memory by fabrication). Saturday, October 18, 2008. Well, I've made it to Hastings and here's a shot my of hosts, Ma and Pa McGarvey. Apparently, there has been a slight mix-up in the bookings - they thought I was only staying tonight at their place, then going to stay in Napier for the Conference, but I am only booked in from Monday in Napier. So it looks like I'll be out on the street tomorrow night. October 18, 2008 at 8:45 PM.

Confabulism: FREEDOM

http://confabulism.blogspot.com/2008/09/freedom.html

The practice of confabulting (talking informally, or filling in gaps in memory by fabrication). Saturday, September 6, 2008. As we abandon God's moral standard, it is reflected in our society. We scratch our heads and wonder why we have all the social problems that now afflict us, when the answer is staring us in the face. But we refuse to submit to the forms that would prevent this chaos. Instead we abandon them in the name of freedom! What does this have to do with faith? September 18, 2008 at 9:35 PM.

watajoke: More Blonde Jokes

http://isabella-clinton.blogspot.com/2009/10/more-blonde-jokes.html

Sunday, October 18, 2009. The funniest blonde joke. I knew a blonde that was so stupid that. She called me to get my phone number. She spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice box because it said "concentrate.". She put lipstick on her forehead because she wanted to make up her mind. She tried to put M&M's in alphabetical order. She sent me a fax with a stamp on it. She tried to drown a fish. She thought a quarterback was a refund. She got locked in a grocery store and starved to death. Two bowling t...
