Bryndís kom í heimsókn um helgina og drifum við stöllur okkur í vínsmökkunarferð að hætti þeirra í Sideways. Við borðuðum kvöldmat á mexikönskum stað í Solvang og fengum okkur margerítur og svo heim á hótel að sauma út og horfa á 10.5, jarðskjálftamynd, í sjónvarpinu. Alltaf gaman að fá Bryndísi í heimsókn! Dagbók Völu og Ólivers. Thursday, June 22, 2006. Myndin var um gaura í landhelgisgæslunni í Alaska, svo aðstæðurnar voru einhvernveginn mjög íslenskar. Mæli alveg með myndinni eins og hún var, en það á örugglega eftir að breyta henni mikið áður en hún fer í bíó. Ég fór semst í fimm daga ferð til Íslands, og held ég hafi náð að hitta meirihlutann af þeim sem ég þekki. vel þjöppuð ferð! Náði reyndar ekki að hitta Esteri vinkonu þar sem hún þurfti að vera á fæðingardeildinni þegar ég ætlaði að hitta hana :) til hamingju með litlu krúsina! Annars er ég bara heima og á að vera að vinna í ritgerðinni og svona. jájá. Viðbót: heima í merkingunni á skrifstofunni :).

Lamont er deild innan Columbiu háskólans í New York og er staðsett utan borgarinnar, en margir nýdoktorar búa samt á Manhattan þar sem Columbia er og taka strætó að Lamont. Líklega byrja ég seint í haust, en það á allt eftir að koma í ljós. Allavega er ég hoppandi skoppandi glöð þar sem ég verð að vinna með gaurnum sem mig langaði mest að vinna með :) Jej!
