Just had the 2x II back at Canon for a warped internal seal replacement; calibrated and cleaned etc - not exactly cheap but seems to be working well - 1DX, 300 2.8 II and 2x III - all Waters' Edge Barton on a quick evening test. Time flies when you get old. Had a few sunny days recently, so I've managed to get out with the camera, and not take pictures of Whisky; well, none for on here. He's doing well though, and growing so fast I'll need a saddle for him soon. I finally got to see a Brimstone. Butterfly this year at last. S are always good to see.

I attended a meeting on Monday 19th August at the Forestry Commission offices to discuss wild boar populations and the planned management for 2013/14. Full details will come soon. Wednesday, April 04, 2012. The bird found by Tom Lowe at Elsham Lincs yesterday and still present today - the weather was so bad this am that it was not possible to look for the bird -. One for people to mull over - but take into account that these shots were taken in gale force winds with driving rain and very dull light so the images are not great.
